Set CPU te ayuda a gestionar la velocidad de tu procesador creando perfiles, y así la aplicación te gestiona la velocidad adecuada para lo que esta haciendo tu móvil. Cabe decir que es solo para Root, tiene detractores por el tema de chamuscar tu cpu por un mal uso, está en inglés y es de pago (menos de 2€).

Se puede adquirir desde el Market.

Aqui dejo un pequeño tutorial de unos perfiles para ahorrar batería.

Paso 1: Descargar SetCPU.
Paso 2: Instalar y permitir a Superuser.apk conseguir los privilegios a Setcpu.
Paso 3: Dejar que establezca los ajuste automaticos. Manteniendo la barra de máximo en el máximo y la barra de mínimo en el minimo.Leave the settings alone on the main tab. Should be at the top of the max bar and the bottom of the min bar con el scaling en "On demand".
Paso 4: Marcar "Set on Boot" en la ventana principal.
Paso 5: En la pestaña de perfiles, Marcar "Enable" y "Notifications"
Paso 6: Cliecka en "Add Profile" y añade los siguientes perfiles.

1er Perfil
Condition : Charging USB/Full
Max: High as the bar will go
Min: Low as the bar will go
Governor: ondemand
Priority: 50

2º Perfil
Condition : Charging AC/Full
Max: High as the bar will go
Min: Low as the bar will go
Governor: ondemand
Priority: 50

3er Perfil
Condition : Screen Off
Max: 384000
Min: Low as the bar will go
Governor: ondemand
Priority: 50

4º Perfil
Condition : Battery <
Battery<: 30%
Max: 38400
Min: Low as the bar will go
